What You Will Actually Do

Daily Duties

  • Research grant opportunities aligned with mission and current needs.
  • Draft and refine proposals, letters of inquiry, and supporting materials.
  • Track submission deadlines and required documentation.
  • Respond to funder questions and clarifications.

Weekly Goals

  • Move every active proposal forward toward submission.
  • Identify at least one new qualified funder opportunity.
  • Update the grant pipeline tracker with current status.
  • Steward existing funders with timely updates and reports.

Collaboration & Coordination

  • Coordinate with leadership on funding priorities and program narratives.
  • Partner with Funder Finder and Fresh Fundraiser on overlapping prospects.
  • Support program teams with data and stories that strengthen proposals.

Tracking & Reporting

  • Maintain accurate grant pipeline records and award documentation.
  • Report monthly on submissions, awards, declines, and renewal activity.
  • Track post-award reporting requirements and deadlines.
