GFI’s Story

My name is Brett Zandes, Founder and CEO of Global Freedom Insurance Solutions. For as long as I can remember, I have dreamed of three things: helping others, achieving personal success, and becoming financially secure. Throughout my career, each step has brought me closer to living out that vision. As a former K–12 educator and now a part-time consultant and trainer, I have been blessed with opportunities to guide, coach, and support others in reaching their full potential. Whether serving as a positive role model in the classroom or mentoring adults in professional settings, helping people grow has always been deeply fulfilling for me.

My competitive spirit was shaped through athletics, earning 8th place in California as a decathlete and receiving a scholarship to a four-year university. Later, as a coach leading a 52–2 season, I experienced the joy of pursuing excellence. Yet even with these accomplishments, I realized I was not going to become the superstar I once imagined. That realization opened a new door. I discovered that the financial services and insurance industry offered a meaningful way to accomplish all three of my lifelong goals—helping others, achieving personal success, and building financial security. Global Freedom Insurance Solutions was founded to bring that opportunity to others as well.
